This is the last studio piece I'll ever do for high school 0_0! I'm pretty pleased with it. Now I just need to go and finish the visual diary! >_<. I might tweak the arm a bit because it still looks stiff so I'll resubmit this if I do (i.e. if I have the time...) but, for now, here it is! DA even gets to see it before my markers do. What do you think? Taking the picture for this was really annoying- I had to use the perspective tool on photoshop to get it right and change the contrast etc- but just to make it look more like the original. The photo's still grainy though -_-. Anyway, self portrait using acrylic on canvas. |

Not angry with DA anymore! 23 views on my painting (last time it was about 8 and I fumed... as turtlepip had more than it. I mean wtf?)
How do you define white highlights? Do you mean white and shades of grey? Or do mostly desaturated colours (pale yellow etc) count as white as well?
